Description

Our home is a spacious detached house. It has 200 m2 with double ensuite bedroom and two single bedrooms available and with a bathroom adjacent to the room. We live in a small village, Guadarrama that is a Natural Park, only to half hour to Madrid.
I can prepare meals for you if you required and teach you Spanish because I am a certified teacher.
The price is 30 € per person.

Location

It's situated in a small village at about 45 km from Madrid. From here you can reach a lot of interesting places, Segovia, Toledo, El Escorial... and we like to join our guests to interesting places as guides.

Blanca and Eduardo were the most welcoming and helpful hosts I could imagine. Not only did they offer to meet us, to help with directions to their house, but they provided us companionship as well as directions to local sites and tips on Madrid. Their English skills are very good and we enjoyed learning about each other's culture. We came away with new friends, a comfort with the Guadarrama area and so many wonderful memories that we are already thinking about when we might return.
The room they offered my adult son and me was huge! It's the top floor of their home with two king sized beds, plus 2 futons, tables and chairs and lovely skylights. It felt private enough for two adults but very comfortable, a separate living space which gave us room to ourselves.The sunroom on the first floor was also lovely. Being able to do laundry and have wonderful meals for a very reasonable extra fee were added benefits.
It was a vacation to treasure and we are very grateful to them and their daughters, who visited while we were there, for their kindness and great hospitality.
