Location

The area of "Friedenau" and its four-storey houses was build 1904 -1905. Kind of modest and neat "Jugendstil" district raised at the rim of the expanding town of Berlin. Today part of the inner-city of West-Berlin including many patches of green/flowers and 95% nicely renovated buildings. "Friedenau" = "peacefull meadow" than and now lives up to its name - a quiet and relaxed area where families, students and seniors, younger/older couples and singles of all ages enjoy to live. Small shops, cafes and bars/pubs aswell as more classy restaurants are situated around the corner. You´ll find Shoppingmalls and Cinemas on our main street "Schlosstraße" near by.
Also "Botanischer Garten" and other Parks e.g. "Der Insulaner" a well-known and "homemade" hill topped with open air swimming area and build from bricks of ruins after WWII are quite close by.
Access to public transportation (busses/subway) within a six minutes walk. It takes a 30-40 minutes ride to "Mitte, East Berlin" or only 10 minutes to "Berlin Zoo, Ku-Damm" etc.
